Hope everyone had a great weekend! This friday night I attended a gala here in Miami called Emerald Nights run by the Transplant Foundation it is a non profit organization run by thankful transplant recipients wanting to give back by contributing funds toward new research. The even is truly for a great cause. 

First, I want to apologize for the photo overload, but this dress is truly one of my favorite pieces I own. I love the asymmetrical cut outs, and how it is flirty, yet not too sexy everything about this dress is just perfect! Yes, I agree it is scantily clad but i adore it! I decided to pair it with my Christian Louboutin Sobek heels to add some color and pulled my hair up to show off every cut on the dress. I'm all about fun trends this spring! I am obsessed with mid drift bearing tops, and fun colors, specially because here in Miami the weather is always perfect for it, yet this night in particular it was a little windy. I wore this outfit for dinner, and then I was invited to a little lounge for some dancing. This outfit seemed perfect for both events, fun and trendy, yet still elegant enough for a dinner since I could lower the pants a little, or higher them to show less skin. Also, my top was extremely high in these pictures due to the wind, I promise I wasn't revealing that much all night. Anyway, I apologize for the photos not being too detailed, but as we were taking these shots a cop told us that we were not allowed on the park after dark, so I had to sneak a couple! SHHHH

Visiting the animals & the Fish

The days I spent in California I went to the San Diego Zoo, BTW it is huge, in fact it is one of the largest in the world. I was beyond excited to see a panda for the first time, there was a HUGE line, but I managed to get a peek and snap a shot of it up on the tree. I was wearing my jeggings because they are super comfy and I was really cold over there in San Diego, plus my Chanel espadrilles are the best for walking long distances. The next day we went to the aquarium, I adore penguins, so as you can see I had to take some pictures in front of them. We were also able to go in and feed the lorikeets they were super adorable, although they had indigestion and almost flew right into me I had a good time with them. Again I wore my denim jacket, as you guys can see I was not very prepared for the weather on this trip hence why I had to wear the same Jacket twice. But hey! there is nothing wrong with that, I have no shame in it. I decided to take a chance and wear shorts to the aquarium ( I ended up regretting that decision) I was super cold the whole day, I now know for the next time to take more than one jacket and only pack pants!

California Day 1

Happy Monday!

While on spring break I took a little trip to California mostly to San Diego and Riverside. The flight took forever, it was delayed TWICE! United Airlines is not one of my favorites right now. Usually when I travel I like to be comfortable, and I always get cold, but I wanted to still look presentable so I opted for these super cute leggings and bright sweater, plus the weather in Riverside was totally perfect for my choice. It was sunny, yet windy so I wasn't dying of a heat stroke. And of course my absolute favorite sneakers, you can never go wrong with a pair of Isabel Marants. These pictures were taken right after I flew in, we went to this super awesome mexican restaurant called Tios Tacos.  The owner is an artist, he takes anything he finds and transforms it into art, I was in love with this place! The little chapel pictured above has even been used as a venue for peoples weddings, so cute! The place is so welcoming and awesome for exploring, an the food is delish! I definitely  recommend to anyone who goes to riverside! Hope you enjoy the post! I will have the rest of my California Get away up the rest of the week!

While I was on spring break I decided to take full advantage of the fact that I live in Miami and fortunately have the beach at my disposal. I really needed a tan given that I had been traveling to NYC very often and staying in. It was such a pretty day and I somewhat got a hint of a golden tan. This post doesn't show much of an outfit but hey, who needs more than a simple bikini when your catching some rays, and have such a beautiful view?

Hey all!

Nothing says its spring better than bright colors! These are some snapshots of an outfit I wore for a date night. We went out to eat dinner at Meat Market On Lincoln Road in South Beach, the food was delish! I absolutely loved the chocolate molten cake they have there, btw thats my favorite desert, along with brownies! Anyway, this outfit was my first for spring! I was so excited to wear these pumps I got, I had been saving them for a special occasion and this seemed fitting. I paired them with black and white because I really wanted them to be the star of the outfit, plus I love basics. I decided to wear a fun lip color as well, I was wearing Morange by MAC which i absolutely love, orange is so in this spring! Well hope you all are enjoying your monday!
