Spring On, in Denim

Happy Monday!
Spring is in full effect, and as I mentioned in a prior post flared denim is trending! This particular pair I was wearing I got when I was in middle school, ( yes I am as surprised as you are that they still fit ) Anyway, think back to your 2000's self, your pants were super low, extremely distressed, you layered your polos, accessorized with pooka shells, and added flip flops to complete the total surfer babe look, am I right? Anyway, this time around, the jeans are serving  different purpose, a spring minimalist approach. I wore a lightweight white blouse, with a strappy bralette to add a little twist, and paired it with some white pumps. This ensemble is easy breezy, and lends itself to several occasions.
Have a great day lovies!

The Moto Vest.

Hello Loves!
Happy first day of spring!
In last weeks post I was wearing this same filthy magic dress, I wanted to share with you all how to make the most out of the pieces you have in your closet. I know as women, we tend to hate "outfit repeating" but ladies, lets be realistic. We all do it! Besides, there are certain pieces in ones closet that we can not get enough of. Styling is all about making the most of what you have. In this case, I decided to pair this moto vest over the dress ( for those of you who live in cooler places this is perfect ) Vests tend to not only add a "cool girl vibe" but also provides a surprisngly amount of warmth. To complete the ensemble, I went for my favorite shoes of the moment, they simply liven up any look, and are instantly the center of attention. So there you have it, one dress two ways, this get up is perfect for almost every occasion, but for us Miamians I suggest keeping it for a night time look because you might melt otherwise.
Enjoy! Xo Carol

Shirt Dressin'

Wearing: Filthy Magic Dress, Chanel Boy bag, Fendi Furry, Chloe Boots, Illesteva Sunnies.

Ready to transition into lighter color pallets? I hope so, because spring is upon us! For us Miamians its not much of a weather change per-se but, at least for me, I pretend I have seasons, and dress accordingly ( the best I can of course ). One of my favorite looks, no matter the season is the shirt dress. It is an easy to wear, throw on last minute and still look fab kind of piece. Also, it doesn't hurt that it was all over the runways for fashion week. I styled my Filthy Magic dress with my favorite pair of booties, and my chanel boy. Really simple look, but I always say that simplicity goes a long way. This ensemble is perfect for any occasion, brunch, shopping, lunch, you name it. The dress is very easy to transition into a nighttime look, which I will be posting soon!
Stay tuned!

70's Babe

Happy Friday!
Nope, this is not a throwback! Yes I am wearing Bell Bottoms, this new trend is perfect for us short girls the silhouette of these jeans allows your legs to look longer ( also this particular pair makes my butt look great ) I went for a laid back look, a plain white tee, added some flare with a hat, the strappy bralette, and the scarf ( as a bracelet ). This look is perfect for brunch with the girls. However, this look can easily be turned into a night time look, just put a leather jacket over it and there you are ready to take on the evening! We all want to give off the ultimate cool girl vibe, and this outfit does just that! What are your thoughts on this trend?
Hope this helped for your weekend inspo!
